SEO Content Specialist (Local SEO) We’re helping Mettano find a top candidate to join their team full‑time as an SEO Content Specialist (Local SEO).

About the Role Mettano is a fast‑growing marketing agency focused on home service businesses across the US. As an SEO Content Specialist, you will own content creation—writing high‑quality service pages, location pages, and blog posts that rank and convert. You will execute against the strategic direction set by our Senior SEO Specialist and SEO Manager, turning keyword research and content briefs into optimized pages. This is not a generic content writing role. You need to understand how content fits into a Local SEO strategy. Internal linking, URL structure, heading hierarchy and on‑page optimization are part of your daily work.

Responsibilities
- Write and edit blog posts, service pages, and location pages for home service clients.
- Implement on‑page SEO best practices, internal linking strategy, URL structure, heading tags, meta descriptions, and keyword placement.
- Review and improve existing content across client sites, identifying gaps, fixing inconsistencies, and elevating quality.
- Collaborate closely with the SEO team on content priorities, timelines, and feedback.
- Communicate directly with clients on content‑related updates when needed.
- Manage tasks through Monday.com.
- Maintain daily work summaries, bi‑weekly team meetings, asynchronous updates via Loom, and team communication via Slack.

Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of SEO content experience, including service pages and location pages that rank.
- Expert‑level English: native‑level writing, clear grammar, natural tone and strong structure.
- Proficiency in on‑page SEO: internal linking, heading structure, keyword placement, URL structure and meta optimisation.
- Detail‑oriented and reliable; typos, broken links and sloppy formatting are unacceptable.
- Excellent asynchronous communication skills for a remote team across time zones.
