Job OverviewLocation: Santa Fe, NM.We are a small, family-style, one-doctor practice dedicated to serving our community.
The practice will grow with the addition of a new Associate Veterinarian who will collaborate with our skilled tech team and contribute to patient care.The position offers mentorship, leadership and growth opportunities, no on‐call duties, student‐loan repayment and pet discounts.ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical veterinary services for patients, including internal medicine, dentistry, soft‐tissue surgery, diagnostic imaging, and cytology.Participate in patient treatment planning and case discussions with Dr. Mark Terry.Apply state‐of‐the‐art anesthesia and pain management protocols.Utilize advanced laboratory, imaging (ultrasonography, full‐body radiography) and dental equipment.Ensure adherence to clinic protocols and regulatory standards.QualificationsDoctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.Recent graduate or experienced veterinarian interested in internal medicine, dentistry, and soft‐tissue surgery.Strong clinical skills with experience or interest in diagnostic imaging and cytology.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to work within a versatile, four‐day work week schedule.BenefitsStudent loan repayment plan.Pet discounts for clinic staff.Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision) and 401(k) with employer match.Paid time off, sick time and holiday pay.Work‐Life BalanceWe value a healthy work‐life balance: flexible scheduling, a four‐day work week, and no clinical work on Saturdays and Sundays.
