Customer Success – Client Retention & RenewalsSOVOS is seeking a RenewalsSpecialistto join our newly created Renewals organization. The adecuado candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing renewalsfor SaaS customeraccounts, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This is a quota-carrying individual contributor role.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop Internal and External Relationships:Cultivate relationships with key stake holders within our CustomersCollaborate with Account Management and Customer Success to build comprehensive account plansImplement industry best practices to enhance the overall customer experience during renewalDrive Renewal Upsell OpportunitiesProactively identify and capitalize on renewal upsell opportunities within assigned territoriesManage Negotiations and Account IssuesLead negotiations with customers to ensure successful renewalsPartner with stakeholders to resolve any account issues impacting renewalProvide Operational ExcellenceEnsure operational excellence throughout the renewal processMaintain tactical awareness and address any challenges promptlyForecasting and DeliveryMaintain predictability in forecasting and delivering against targetsStrive to exceed expectations in all aspects of renewal managementProficiency in Learning and AdaptationDemonstrate proficiency in learning new systemsNavigate through change effectively and quickly ramp up on new product offeringsOrganizational AlignmentReportstoManager/Director, RenewalsQualificationsExperience:1-3years of experience in renewals management or account management in the software industry, specifically focusing on SaaS solutions and servicesProven track record of achieving sales or renewal quotas, particularly for SaaS RenewalsFluency in English
- written and verbalSkills:Strong negotiation and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, and Salesforce CRM is a plusCustomer Focus:Experience advocating for clients while ensuring company policies are upheldDemonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationshipsProblem-Solving:Effective at handling difficult situations and resolving issues promptly and effectivelyStakeholder Management:Experience balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders within tight timelines and resource constraintsminimal (less than 25%) travel required both domestic and international to Sovos locations and eventsUtilize technology (e.g.,phone systems, computer hardware and software applications) to fulfill work requirementsCompany BackgroundSovos was built to solve the complexities of the digital transformation of tax, with complete, connected offerings for tax determination, continuous transaction control compliance, tax reporting and more.
