About The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for freelance/contract work in Rio Gallegos, Argentina.This is an on-site position supporting mission-critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities.Compensation$***********/hr (ARS hourly).Rates vary based on experience level and project complexity.Emergency and after-hours work may qualify for premium rates.Engagement TypeContract/Freelance basisFlexible scheduling availableProject-based or ongoing supportRemote hands and smart hands servicesResponsibilitiesPerform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrationsExecute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic)Conduct server racking, stacking, and labelingPerform cross-connects and patch panel workTroubleshoot connectivity and hardware issuesDocument all work with photos and detailed notesCoordinate with remote NOC and client teamsQualifications2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experienceStrong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber)Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro)Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in raised floor environmentsOwn transportation and ability to work on-siteProfessional communication skills in EnglishData center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, or similar)
