Medical Staff Lead (Rawson)

Job Summary / Responsibilities The Medical Staff Lead will work closely with the other members of the team to ensure exceptional clinic operations through effective and efficient patient and employee care. Job Details JOB TITLE: Clinical Office Leader This position is responsible for a single clinic or a territory of clinics under an assigned Office Manager. The coordinator manages clinic Human Resource functions, staff, and responds to customer complaints. Responsibilities include people management, scheduling, labor management, performance management, professional appearance, supplies, teamwork, and communication. Primary Responsibilities
- Create schedules for the Receptionist, Medical Assistants, and Office Administrative staff
- Monitor, approve, and deny PTO requests for the Receptionist, Medical Assistants, and Office Administrative staff
- Act as the first point of contact for all clinical staff under their purview
- Manage staff operational quota by handling the interviewing and onboarding process for all clinics under their purview
- Participate in various staff employee relations processes with the division HR team
- Work with divisional HR to facilitate HR initiatives at the clinic(s) under their purview
- Handle patient complaints in relation to the staff and the clinic(s)
- Mentor staff on HR topics as well as customer service and clinical care topics
- Apply excellent customer service standards for all interactions with facilities, providing data to OIW
- Maintain patient confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines
- Follow all HIPAA & OSHA standards
- Other tasks as required by provider
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned Education / Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher, preferably in Human Resources, Business, or Health Care
- 2+ years of Human Resource experience
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- 2+ years of health care experience preferred Physical / Mental Demands
- Able to read, write, and communicate in English
- Must have cognitive skills for math, decision making, and excellent communication skills
- Work in a temperature-controlled environment
- Potential for contact with chemicals, blood-borne pathogens, and exposure to infectious disease
- Able to lift 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques several times during a shift Shift and Location Shift: Monday-Friday In person at the Franklin, WI clinic Occasional travel may be required to Mequon and Mt.
