- no work on evenings/weekendsMedical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance401(k) with company matchEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Employee discount programThe IPC is an Equal Opportunity Employer, drug free workplace, and complies with ADA regulations as applicable.The Company is committed to promoting a workplace of diversity, equity, and inclusion.Job Summary/ResponsibilitiesThe Receptionist is a highly skilled and experienced front desk professional that has demonstrated skills in all of the required job duties of a front desk receptionist.They must be attentive and professional to help ensure patients have an excellent experience with IPC | SP from the moment they enter the clinic and is considered the go-to person for other Receptionists when questions arise.They will often be the first point of personal contact for the patient in the clinics and is accountable for ensuring that all patient data is accurate.A positive attitude, calm demeanor and compassionate and caring nature will make a good receptionist an even more valuable member of the clinic team.The Receptionist will be professional in their interactions with the patients; exhibiting an ability to ask the necessary questions in a manner that is both warm and efficient, and effectively maintaining the flow of the clinic schedule.They will be highly skilled in the AIDET process and will coach other members of the reception staff to ensure all activities at the front desk are professional and patient centric.They will work in partnership with the Patient Experience Manager, the Operations Manager and the other clinic staff to help support the effective and efficient running of the clinic.Primary ResponsibilitiesObtains patient's demographic information and checks patient into the clinicWelcomes patients and demonstrates the effective use of the AIDET processOrganizes charts for providers/compares it to the schedule and make charts for any late add onsScans and verifies all forms and insurance cards into AthenaChecks patient temperature and ensures patient is in good health and symptom free for the scheduled appointmentCollects and enters co-pays and self-pays correctly and appropriately follows/updates remarks in the patient's accountHas an overall understanding of the entire clinic workflowCommunicates with patients proactively when a provider is delayedApplies excellent customer service standards for all interactionsMaintains patient confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelinesManages difficult or emotional patient situations effectively and maintains person self-controlManages imaging and orders and sends them to the appropriate resourceEnters patient pharmacies into AthenaOpens and closes the office to prepare for the next day clinicSets patients up for their patient portal accountVerifies Insurance eligibilityMaintains an orderly waiting roomOther duties as required to support the clinicFollow all HIPAA & OSHA standardsPhone answering etiquette and assists in call center if/when neededProactively checks out each patient, including producing work slips for patientsFlexibility to travel between locations, including call center, as neededHelps resolve escalated patient, vendor and colleague questions and situationsDemonstrates and coaches the skills in the AIDET process for patient serviceLeads the work at the front desk to collaborate as a team to provide high quality care and efficient service to patients and staffIs the "go-to" person for other team membersAbility to see the 'big picture' and understand the goals of the physicians and practiceIn partnership with the Patient Experience Manager, will train all new and current receptionist staff as neededOversees the review of all charts to ensure that all information is accurate and in place for the patient visitAssists in compiling office supply order by monitoring suppliesOther tasks and responsibilities as assignedEducation/Qualification RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent.1+ years of Receptionist experiencePhysical/Mental DemandsAble to read, write and communicate in EnglishHave cognitive skills for math, decision making and excellent communication skillsWork in a temperature-controlled environmentPotential for contact with chemicals, blood borne pathogens, and exposure to infectious disease.Able to lift 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques several times during shiftLOCATIONThe Medical Receptionist will be split between the Franklin WI and the Mequon WI location.Rare travel to Mt Pleasant location may be required in times of need.SALARY RANGE$17-$20 and hour#J-*****-Ljbffr Postúlate en Kit Empleo: kitempleo.com.ar/empleo/pz2n6
