LATAM Hub Head, Global Site (Ramos Mejía)

ResponsibilitiesLead and manage country/hub-level study and site execution, aligning with global study strategies, regulatory requirements, and Amgen quality standards. Drive end-to-end study activities—start-up, enrolment, retention, data quality, and patient safety—ensuring compliance with local regulations and integral strategies. Provide strategic guidance on study feasibility, site placement, and selection, supporting portfolio priorities and regional strengths. Build, mentor, and develop the country/hub team, fostering performance, capability growth, and succession planning. Ensure adequate staffing and resources for study delivery, site operations, and monitoring. Enhance site engagement, strengthening relationships with investigators and sites through leadership, innovation, and collaboration with global teams. Oversee financial and operational management—budgets, forecasting, vendor oversight—to deliver value and accountability. Lead governance and risk management, chair the Country Management Team, represent the country in senior forums, and manage risks, issues, and escalations. Maintain regulatory compliance, inspection readiness, and continuous improvement, promoting best practices and audit readiness. Basic Qualifications
- Doctorate degree and 3 years of clinical execution experience, or
- Master’s degree and 7 years of clinical execution experience, or
- Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of clinical execution experience

Lead experience: at least 3 years managing people or leading teams, projects, programs, or resource allocation. Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of work experience in life sciences or a related field, including 6 years of biopharmaceutical clinical research experience
- Experience overseeing clinical research vendors (CROs, central labs, imaging vendors, etc.)
- Significant experience managing clinical operations across a relevant geography/region, with strong understanding of local regulatory requirements for global clinical trials
