We are seeking a highly organized and patient-focused Medical Executive Assistant to support a busy Los Angeles-based medical practice. This role is responsible for managing patient communication and handling a range of administrative and back-office medical tasks. Responsibilities: Answer incoming patient calls in a professional and courteous manner Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments Handle insurance verification and authorization processes Prepare, send, and manage medical-legal reports Assist with billing-related administrative tasks Route calls and requests to the appropriate team members when necessary Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely follow-ups Support general medical back-office operations Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (required) Strong verbal communication skills, especially over the phone Prior experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting Experience with patient scheduling, insurance authorization and verification and medical administrative workflows Ability to multitask and handle high call volumes Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to follow established processes consistently Comfortable working remotely as part of a team Reliable and consistent performance in a virtual environment Access to a $200K+ perk marketplace with discounts on 150+ global services.
