Senior ETL Developer (Posadas)

The adecuado candidate will have strong SQL and ETL development skills, a solid understanding of data transformation patterns, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions. This role also supports production issue resolution, monitoring, and ongoing enhancement of the data platform.

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and support ETL/ELT pipelines that ingest and transform data from multiple source systems into Snowflake and reporting environments.
- Build and optimize data workflows using Matillion, SQL Server, and Snowflake.
- Create transformation logic for staging, ODS, and curated data layers.
- Write, tune, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Participate in source-to-target mapping, data validation, and reconciliation processes.
- Implement error handling, monitoring, and data quality checks within ETL workflows.
- Support data pipeline scheduling, orchestration, and dependency management.
- Collaborate with business analysts, BI developers, and application teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable ETL solutions.
- Assist in troubleshooting production issues, performing root cause analysis, and resolving data-related defects.
- Ensure ETL processes align with enterprise data models, standards, and governance practices.
- Maintain technical documentation related to ETL jobs, mappings, workflows, and lineage.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts for performance optimization and platform stability.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in ETL/ELT development and data integration.
- Hands‑on experience with Matillion, SQL Server, and Snowflake.
- Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, staging, ODS, and transformation best practices.
