Pacific International Lines (PIL) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Service Executive to join our team in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The role involves handling customer contracts, ensuring accurate booking operations, and acting as a focal point for sales and service initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Download and process daily booking requests to be sent to customers within the required period.
- Handle all customer demands to ensure that requests are promptly attended.
- Ensure routes, weight, POL/PODs, commodities, temperature and all other information are accurate in the PIL system.
- Maintain good communication with other teams such as Documentation and Sales.
- Perform booking amendments and maintenance.
- File customer particulars to maintain consistency in PIL service.
- Follow up on bookings from regular / BID customers to ensure they arrive within the expected timeframe.
- Provide excellent customer experience on the phone.
- Ensure customer attendance and satisfaction, going the extra mile for Customer Excellence.
- Assist customers with problem solving.
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve customer grievances.
- Adhere to Pocket PIL policy, promoting this tool to customers to migrate volume from other platforms.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience in customer service within the shipping or logistics industry.
- Knowledge of import/export processes and documentation is essential.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
Must Have
- Experience in customer service within the shipping or logistics industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Experience dealing with international clients and understanding technical documents; B1, B2, or higher level in speaking, listening & reading is preferred.
