NET Developer to support our long-standing client, a mature SaaS platform in the agricultural technology industry. This role is idóneo for developers who are highly comfortable working inside large, legacy Oracle PL/SQL environments while also supporting and extending C#/. NET applications. You will take ownership of database-heavy tasks, work through highly complex stored procedures, and collaborate closely with both the Oracle and . NET teams. This role is critical for stabilizing delivery, improving ticket throughput, and supporting ongoing modernization efforts as it transitions business logic from Oracle into . NET. This is a hands-on development role that requires strong independence, analytical skills, and the ability to work with legacy monolithic systems. Focus On (You must be strong in both) PL/SQL & Oracle Development (Primary Focus – 60%–70%): Modify, extend, and troubleshoot PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, triggers, and views. Navigate complex legacy Oracle schemas and business logic. Analyze and optimize SQL performance (execution plans, indexing, schema relationships). Support data-driven workflows for reporting, processing, and business rule execution. Work closely with senior Oracle developers to clarify logic when required. .NET / C# Application Development (Secondary Focus – 30%–40%): Understand how PL/SQL logic flows into the . NET business layer. Implement minor feature updates, bug fixes, and application-level enhancements. Collaborate with . NET developers to improve the maintainability and readability of code. Assist in shifting logic from Oracle to . NET as part of the modernization roadmap. Key Responsibilities PL/SQL Development: Maintain and troubleshoot stored procedures, packages, and data workflows. .NET Development: Support C#-based business logic, integrations, and service layers. Database + Application Bridging: Own tickets that require working across both Oracle and . NET. Ticket Ownership: Independently manage the entire lifecycle of technical tasks. Documentation: Clearly document changes in both the database and the application logic. Cross-Team Collaboration: Participate in sprint ceremonies, grooming, and retrospectives. Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance SQL performance as required. Required Skills and Qualifications PL/SQL / Oracle Skills (Must-Have) 3–5+ years of hands‐on experience with Oracle PL/SQL. Strong ability to read, debug, and modify large legacy stored procedures. Solid understanding of indexing, query performance, and execution plans. Experience working in large, monolithic enterprise systems. .NET / C# Skills 2–4+ years of experience with C#/. NET (Framework or .NET Core). Ability to interpret and implement business logic in the . NET application layer. Familiarity with data‐access tools such as ADO.NET, Dapper, or Entity Framework. Understanding of how backend logic integrates with PL/SQL outputs. General Requirements Strong analytical and debugging skills. Ability to work independently and manage complex technical tasks.
