RTR General Ledger Junior Analyst (Munro)

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? The RTR general ledger Junior Analyst reports directly to the General Ledger Supervisor. The primary function is to play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the organization. The junior analyst will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining valuable insights and hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting Financial Data Entry and Record-Keeping:
- Ensure high-quality entry of financial transactions into accounting software.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Assist in reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Receive, review and post journal entries received
- Prepare monthly journal entries for AL/Airgas entities and business units
- Prepare and post journal entries such as standard accruals and ad-hoc journal entries monthly
- Bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Support and meet our collective performance metrics

- Bachelor or technical degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent experience
- Ideally, 1-3+ years of accounting work experience
- Intermediate level computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Access) / Strong analytical mindset and collaborative problem-solving approach with the ability to understand metrics and to present and communicate openly to all levels of the organization and external customers.
