Physical Therapist (Exempt) (Bella Vista)

Position Details Physical Therapist – Mercy – NWA Sugar Creek Clinic – Full Time Responsibilities Under the general supervision of Therapy Leadership and in accordance with departmental policies and procedures regarding referral and standards of treatment, performs objective assessments and develops comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. Responsible for direct supervision of patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians, and general supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Performs duties in a manner consistent with the mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Qualifications Education: Current State license in Physical Therapy. Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy, or Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Licensure: Current or temporary license in the state of practice. Certifications: BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before independent patient care. Preferred Experience: Six months to one year experience preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist. Prefer experience caring for adult and geriatric patients. Physical Requirements Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. Prolonged standing and walking during each shift. Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
