Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Not an Active Opening, Building Talent PipelineARGENTINA – This role is not currently active; we are building a community of talent for future opportunities.The MissionAt Caylent, a Senior Machine Learning Engineer works as an integral part of a cross‐functional delivery team to design and document machine learning solutions on the AWS cloud for our customers.
The engineer will help our customers connect their business goals with the details of feature design, model training, and inference.Key activities include:Deliver machine learning solutions on AWS for customers, working with an architect‐designed framework.Participate in daily stand‐up meetings and bi‐weekly agile ceremonies with the customer.Hold weekly 1:1s with the manager to guide career development.Your AssignmentsWork with a team to deliver machine learning solutions on AWS for customers.Participate in and contribute to daily standup meetings.Develop and implement ML models, MLOps, and analytics.Process big data and prepare training data for models.Your QualificationsStrong experience building ML models for real‐world applications.Experience with at least one of the following:AWS ML services / SageMakerMLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, AirflowAdvanced analytics using time‐series forecasting or inferential statisticsExperience with one or more data‐processing solutions:Big data platforms such as Spark, Hadoop, or streaming platforms.Data processing and cleansing using Python / Pandas, PySpark, Scala, SQL.Deep understanding of feature definition, model meta‐data, hyperparameter tuning, stochastic gradient descent, deep learning layer types, and activation functions.Experience with visualization tools such as SageMaker, ggplot, matplotlib, or seaborn.Familiarity with IaC tools such as CloudFormation, Amazon CDK, or Terraform.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.BenefitsPay in USD.Generous holidays and versatile PTO.Paid for exams and certifications.Peer bonus awards.State‐of‐the‐art laptop and tools.Equipment & office stipend.Annual stipend for learning and development.TravelMay require up to 25% travel, depending on business needs.Diversity & InclusionCaylent is a place where everyone belongs.
