Quality Controller / Foreman Mercedes-Benz Artarmon NSW

About the opportunity We’re offering an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced Quality Controller / Foreman to join the team at Mercedes-Benz Artarmon. This role will be responsible for inspecting work and processes to ensure they meet required quality standards, identifying issues, and supporting continuous improvement to deliver consistent, high‑quality outcomes. The successful candidate will undertake the responsibilities below:
- Oversee the daily operations and technician productivity in the workshop
- Prioritise and allocate repair orders to ensure on‑time completion
- Assist with technical problem‑solving and guide your team through challenging repairs
- Communicate additional recommended work to the Service Advisor team for customer approval
- Ensure all documentation and repair orders comply with warranty procedures
- Maintain workshop cleanliness, ensure OEM tools and equipment are in top condition, and uphold all safety practices
- Expedite parts orders and eliminate delays in the repair process
- Take special care with repeat repairs, ensuring lasting fixes and avoiding future comebacks Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the automotive trade with relevant qualifications
- Previous experience as a Workshop Controller or Foreman is highly desirable
- MVTC (Motor Vehicle Tradesperson Certificate) is essential
- Current driver’s licence
