Autonomous Vehicle Systems Engineer (Mercedes)

Role Summary To lead the architectural design and system integration of Level 4 autonomous driving stacks, ensuring full compliance with the EU AI Act and ISO 26262 safety standards.

Team Structure Part of the Core Autonomy Division, working in a cross‑functional squad of 12 including Perception Engineers, Safety Experts, and Ethics Officers.

Reports To Reports to the Director of Systems Engineering.

Working Conditions Travel required: 15%. Standard business hours with occasional evening syncs for integral teams.
