Security CoordinatorSecurity Coordinator assists the Supervisors in managing the daily operations of the department.ResponsibilitiesManage ReportingAssist with department records for incident reports.Ensure student supervisor reports are correctly written and compliant with standards.Ensure follow-through on reports submitted to the Security Department.Collect and store all incident media (photos, videos, electronic documents) on the network.Coordinate Daily Shifts and Special EventsHelp coordinate with other departments to provide security services for daily and special events.Prepare the shift for special duties such as gate/building opening and closing and sign and cone setup.Assist in managing student workers through quality assurance of security services for all events.Manage LogisticsAssist in managing the twenty‐four hour dispatch center.Handle paperwork, phone and event logs, maintenance work orders entered by Security, and daily schedules for building and gate openings and special events.Coordinate Patrol OfficersCoordinate shift details and patrol officers in the field.Respond to medical emergencies and perform safety inspections around campus.Assist with training student workers, evaluating them, and developing them into better employees.QualificationsEducationRequired: College Degree.Preferred: College Degree – Criminal Justice.Work ExperienceRequired: 1+ years in management.Preferred: 2+ years in management.Physical Requirements and SkillsAnalytical Thinking, Communication, Detail‐Oriented, Emergency Response Operations, Interpersonal Relationships, Must be able to hear and see clearly, Organizing, Public Relations, Situation Management, Time Management.Religious RequirementIdóneo candidates must be born‐again Christians and must be dedicated to training young people for serving God; they must desire to educate students based on biblical values and be committed to excellence as a Christian educator who glorifies Christ as the source of all wisdom and knowledge.Applicants must agree with Pensacola Christian College's Mission, Purpose & Objectives, Doctrinal Position, Philosophy of Education, and Faculty & Staff Commitments.FLSA Status: Scanning (Non‐exempt).
