Overview We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with AI experience to build and scale production systems that combine modern web applications with intelligent automation. You’ll work across backend services, frontend applications, and AI integrations to solve real operational problems at scale.

This role is for engineers who care about shipping reliable systems, enjoy working across the stack, and use AI as a practical tool to improve workflows—not just as a feature. Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain scalable APIs and services utilizing Python and FastAPI that support product functionalities.
- Design and manage data models, database schemas, and migrations within relational databases like PostgreSQL to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability.
- Create responsive and efficient user interfaces using React by converting design systems and user journeys into modular, component-driven structures with Tailwind CSS.
- Work collaboratively with product, design, and engineering teams to establish API specifications and deliver complete features from backend through to the user interface.
- Take ownership of build and deployment pipelines along with tooling to enhance developer productivity and accelerate release cycles using AWS.
- Promote high code standards through automated testing, thorough pull request evaluations, and comprehensive documentation.
- Establish strong observability practices including metrics, tracing, and logging to guarantee system uptime, dependability, and rapid incident resolution.
- Design and embed AI functionalities such as symptom intake automation and clinical summarization throughout frontend and backend processes.
- Develop and sustain AI workflows including prompt orchestration, retrieval augmentation, evaluation, and monitoring to maintain quality and safety. What We're Looking For

- Over 6 years of hands‑on experience in professional full‑stack web development utilizing Python with FastAPI and React frameworks.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and structuring relational databases, particularly with PostgreSQL.
- In‑depth knowledge of Java Script (ES6 and beyond), Type Script, as well as HTML5 and CSS3 standards.
- Strong proficiency in creating and maintaining RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, including aspects of version control and comprehensive documentation.
- Practical experience deploying, monitoring, and resolving issues in production environments using cloud services like AWS.
- Well‑versed in applying testing methodologies and tools across unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.
- Proven track record of developing and launching AI‑enhanced features such as large language model integrations, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), or classification systems within live web applications.
- Solid understanding of the trade‑offs involved in AI system design, focusing on factors like accuracy, response time, data privacy, and cost, especially within healthcare settings. Nice‑to‑Haves

- Familiarity with microservices architecture, event‑driven systems, and managing message queues.
- Skilled in using Docker, Kubernetes, and implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment workflows.
- Experience developing the Maple digital health platform, including its patient‑facing web app, clinician and admin dashboards, and AI‑driven triage and care recommendation services. How You Would Fit
