Marketing Specialist (La Plata)

We are hiring a full-time Marketing Specialist to own and execute marketing for a growing roofing company. This role is hands-on and execution-heavy: managing social media, SEO, video editing, graphic design, and overall brand presence. The idóneo candidate is creative, proactive, and excited to fully immerse themselves in the business and industry. You should be someone who naturally thinks about how to improve visibility, engagement, and lead flow every day. Full-time. Fully remote. Must be ENGLISH-SPEAKING. Hours: 9am
- 5pm EST Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain the company's social media presence with consistent posting across platforms. Edit short-form and long-form video content for marketing campaigns, ads, and organic social content. Create graphics, promotional assets, and branded marketing materials. Maintain and monitor SEO performance and existing marketing systems and campaigns. Track and manage pay-per-click / pay-per-call style marketing efforts and campaign performance. Repurpose existing content into new formats for social media, email, and advertising. Coordinate with leadership to align marketing efforts with company growth goals. Research trends in roofing, home services, and local marketing to identify opportunities. Monitor engagement, respond to messages and comments when needed, and help build the company's online presence. Assist with additional marketing initiatives including landing pages, email campaigns, and promotional materials. Key Qualifications 2+ years of experience in marketing, social media management, or content creation. Strong video editing and graphic design skills. Experience with SEO and digital marketing fundamentals. Experience with Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar tools. Familiarity with service-based or home-service businesses preferred. Highly detail-oriented and proactive. Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects. Creative thinker with the ability to execute quickly. Must own and be able to use a working computer with high-speed internet. MUST BE ENGLISH-SPEAKING. Nice to have Experience running or monitoring paid advertising campaigns. Familiarity with roofing, construction, or home service industries.
