Senior .NET Developer (San Salvador de Jujuy)

Location: Argentina, Remote (U.S Pacific Working Hours)

We're looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to support and enhance a mission-critical operations application built on a mixed VB.NET and C# codebase. The system underpins real-world operational workflows in a hardware-intensive industry where software reliability directly impacts physical outcomes.

This is a legacy modernization engagement
- partially migrated codebase, actively maintained, tied to hard external delivery milestones. You'll ramp quickly, work with autonomy, and deliver against a fixed timeline.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance existing VB.NET and C# modules
- Continue migration of remaining VB.NET components to C#
- Deliver bug fixes, performance improvements, and new features on schedule
- Write and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and data integration logic
- Support integrations with SharePoint, Excel/VBA macros, Power Automate, and BI tools
- Work within Azure DevOps build and deployment pipelines

Required
- 8+ years .NET development
- active or recent VB.NET & C# production experience
- IIS / Windows Server hosting
- Proven track record with legacy codebase modernization
- Strong communicator, able to collaborate across distributed U.S teams

Preferred
- Partial-migration or modernization project experience
- Background in mission-critical or operational systems
