OverviewWe are currently looking for a Mechanical Sourcing Engineer to join a growing set of engineering projects, with the position based in Argentina. Supplier decisions in this role directly impact speed, cost, and product quality. This is not a typical procurement role. You will be working at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, and supplier strategy, helping determine who builds what and whether they can actually deliver.What you'll be doingIdentifying and engaging new suppliers globallyUnderstanding how parts are manufactured and assessing feasibilityEvaluating supplier capabilities, capacity, and scalabilityLeading RFQs and comparing both technical and commercial proposalsInteracting directly with vendors to validate what is real vs what is promisedIdeal fitHave a Mechanical Engineering backgroundHave worked hand‐on with suppliers or manufacturing environmentsEnjoy figuring out how things are actually built (not just designed)Are comfortable pushing, negotiating, and building relationships with vendorsCan quickly assess if a supplier can meet demand
