Join Episode Six today.What we're hiring for:We are a growing fintech organization looking to add a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test based out of Argentina! What you'll be responsible for in this role:Reviewing requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedbackCreating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test casesPlanning and coordinating testing activities, preparing reports to communicate outcomes of quality assurance activitiesPreparing quality assurance policies and proceduresDesigning, developing and executing automation scriptsIdentifying, recording, documenting and tracking bugsPerforming thorough regression testing when bugs are resolvedDeveloping and applying testing processes for new and existing productsTracking quality assurance metrics and statisticsStaying up to date with new testing tools, different types of test strategies, and assuring ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirementsCommunicating technical information, both written and verbal, effectively to other team members, teams and customers of varying technical experienceWorking collaboratively with other team members, teams and customers on projects, and other similar or related tasks.This is not an exhaustive list, and your duties and responsibilities will also include any incidental and administrative duties as are reasonably required or reasonably desirable for the performance of the duties and responsibilities set out above.What experiences and skills are necessary to be successful in this role:Previous experience in backend Java enterprise software system testing including frameworks and tools such as JUnit, Postman, JMeter, or SeleniumPrevious experience in front end UI testing, API (REST) testing, and Version Control with GitExperience working with CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins or other tools.Proven record with large complex projects and SDLC processes.Proficiency in the programming language JavaExperience working with RDBMS and NoSQL Databases such as MySQL and Cassandra. Ability to write and execute SQL queries.Experience with SFTP, reviewing logs and understanding of log levels.Great problem solving and decision-making skills.Ability to read, write, listen, and speak English with at least business fluency.What makes a successful E6er?
