Company Description Purple Circle is on a mission to impact one billion lives by helping career coaches grow successful, meaningful businesses. Founded by Davis Nguyen, the team runs a podcast-led sales funnel: SDRs qualify inbound leads as podcast guests, the podcast host records with them, and from there the team upsells coaches into Purple Circle programs. All leads are inbound — no outbound prospecting required. Role Description As Purple Circle’s Appointment Setter, you are the first human touchpoint in the funnel. Your job is not to close — it’s to have genuine, warm 15-minute conversations with inbound career coach leads and determine whether they’d be a great guest on the Purple Circle podcast. If they’re a fit, you book them for a recording session. If not, you leave them better off. The marketing team manages all calendar logistics and leads delivery. You don’t do any outbound email, dialing, or prospecting; your entire focus is on the quality and consistency of conversations and accurate qualification. You will
- Host ~15-minute inbound qualification calls with career coach leads
- Guide warm, curious conversations to understand the coach’s story, goals, and business
- Assess whether they are a strong fit as a podcast guest for Purple Circle
- Book qualified guests onto the podcast recording calendar
- Provide thoughtful resources and referrals to leads who are not yet a fit Qualifications
- Fluent English — all calls conducted entirely in English
- Genuinely loves talking to people and learning their stories
- Great listener who guides without dominating the conversation
- Comfortable on camera and with being recorded
- Tech-savvy: reliable remote setup, able to troubleshoot on the fly
- Organized and reliable — CRM updated same day, every day
- Self-directed in a remote environment Compensation
- Base Salary: $1,800 per month
- Commission structure: 1% of each closed deal, uncapped. ($1,000-1,800 additional, based on approx. 2 team closes per week)
