About Your New Role We are not looking for a maintenance engineer. We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to act as the primary architect for our next‑generation financial platform. Our goal is to decommission a legacy PHP monolith and replace it with a modern, high‑performance, and resilient service‑oriented architecture (SOA) capable of handling billions of global transactions with 100% accuracy.

You will be the technical lead for our billing, license management, and revenue recognition systems—the core engines of our business. This role is about more than just refactoring; it is about engineering the distributed systems primitives that ensure every invoice, payment, and reconciliation is reliable, auditable, and secure at a global scale.

Key Strategic Responsibilities
- System Re‑Architecture: Lead the transition from a monolithic legacy stack to a modern SOA using the Strangler Fig pattern, ensuring zero downtime and complete data parity.
