- Rehab Services Job Stream: Clinical Union: MAHCP Anticipated Start Date: 07/20/2026 FTE: 0.80 Anticipated Shift: Days; Evenings; Weekends Work Arrangement: In Person Daily Hours Worked: 8.00 Annual Base Hours: **** Salary: $46,459, $47,850, $49,289, $50,767, $52,287, $53,853 Position Overview To support Concordia's vision, mission and values as an excellent community hospital/facility. To provide care/services to all patients, residents, staff and community members with compassion and respect. To promote a culture of excellence through actions, behaviors and attitudes consistent with the Concordia Way. To demonstrate a commitment to the vision, values, goals, and objectives of the Unit, Concordia, and WRHA. The Occupational Therapist collaborates with clients to plan and design services to meet occupational performance goals, support health lifestyles, prevent illness and disability and promote health. Quality client care is supported through continuing professional development, research, quality improvement and promotion of occupational therapy. Experience Recent and relevant clinical experience preferred. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Entry to practice degree as required for registration with The College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba (COTM). Successful completion of relevant continuing professional education in designated clinical area preferred. Certification / Licensure / Registration Legally qualified to practice Occupational Therapy in Manitoba through registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba (COTM). Membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and Manitoba Society of Occupational Therapists (MSOT) preferred. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with the Employer policy. Qualifications and Skills Knowledge and understanding of evidence-based practice. Knowledge of the physiological, social, cultural and economic aspects of patient care. Ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work cooperatively with other disciplines. Demonstrated professional judgment and initiative. Demonstrated effective organizational, interpersonal, critical-thinking, clinical reasoning, conflict resolution and decision-making skills. Ability to perform both independently and as a team member. Ability to organize and complete assignments with a minimum of supervision. Willingness to adapt to new concepts, techniques and best practice in the academic and clinical fields of health care knowledge. Computer literacy as appropriate. Physical Requirements Must demonstrate adequate strength, agility, motor coordination and dexterity for implementation of therapeutic techniques and manipulation of therapeutic activities as necessary. Other Requirements This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment. An employee is not permitted to hold two or more positions across the WRHA legal entity that combine to equal more than 1.0 EFT. The WRHA legal entity includes Churchill Health Centre, Deer Lodge Centre, Golden Door Geriatric Centre, Golden West Centennial Lodge, Grace Hospital, Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, Pan Am Clinic, River Park Gardens, Victoria General Hospital, WRHA corporate programs, and WRHA community health services.
