Join to apply for the Senior .NET / Blazor Engineer (LATAM) role at Lateral Group Lateral stands for technology excellence. We’re a profitable, award‑winning design and technology company with over 20 years of experience launching bold ventures and transforming businesses. A globally distributed team of 200+ experts united by a shared purpose: the continuous pursuit of quality. Our mission is simple: design and build great products. We differ because of our way of working:
- Bias for action & results: We spot gaps, connect dots, anticipate what’s next and take action. We move fast, stay focused, and let the results speak.
- On time, on budget, on quality: Discipline is our edge – a commitment to each other, our clients and the standards we hold ourselves to.
- Deep care: We care about our work and each other. Thoughtful by default.
- Do things right: Integrity isn’t negotiable. We hold the bar high even when no one’s watching.
- Continuous improvement: We iterate, reflect and adapt quickly. Progress over perfection.
- Agility over dogma: We adapt processes to fit problems, not the other way around.
- Ownership: Everyone leads something – you’ll have room to run with ideas and the trust to execute. What You’ll Do
- Partner with product owners and UX/design teams to convert an existing portal into a modern UI built with Blazor: shifting layouts, updating components, refreshing user flows.
- Develop front‑end features using C#/Blazor, working with UI components (especially using Syncfusion Blazor) as the primary delivery mechanism.
- Use Visual Studio 2022 as your primary IDE to build, test and debug the UI.
- Create and execute API request/response tests using Postman (or similar tooling) to support front‑end integration with back‑end services.
- Translate design/UX changes into technical scope: interface adjustments, component configuration, responsive behaviour, data bindings, state management.
- Work alongside back‑end engineers to integrate UI with existing APIs and services, handle data retrieval, error conditions, and user flows.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability and performance: write clean, modular UI code, adopt best practices, design for reusability and future extensibility.
- Participate in code reviews, collaborate in teams, mentor junior UI developers, and contribute to the UI component library/code standards.
- Balance high‑quality UI delivery with time‑to‑market demands: shape both execution and architecture of the UI layer. What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of software development experience in the .NET ecosystem (C#, .NET 5/6/7 or later) with hands‑on Blazor UI development.
- Demonstrated experience using Blazor components (ideally including Syncfusion Blazor) for data binding, events, state management and dynamic layouts.
- Proficiency in Visual Studio 2022.
- Comfortable with Postman (or similar tools) for API validation and testing.
- Strong grasp of front‑end technologies and UI design patterns: component‑based architecture, reactivity, state management, responsive design, performance considerations.
- Ability to translate UX/specs into working UI code and discuss variant layouts.
- Collaborative skills with back‑end engineers, product and UX stakeholders.
- Excellent problem‑solving, attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality user experiences.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and/or Spanish, and comfort working in asynchronous, remote teams across LATAM time zones.
- Comfort with change, progress over perfection and iterative delivery aligned with Lateral’s culture. Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Real impact: meaningful products in healthcare, commerce, sustainability and next‑gen tech.
- Remote‑first with office flexibility: work where you’re most productive; drop in if you’re near an office.
- Outstanding team: kind, hard‑working, non‑ego, professional.
- Growth: supported to grow your craft and step into greater responsibility at your pace.
- A culture of excellence: focus on outcome, no burnout, no crunch.
- Variety & stability: profitable, independent, with fresh challenges each project. This Role Might Not Be for You
- You prefer well‑defined structure; if a clear hierarchy and swim lanes suit you better than a self‑managed style.
- Distributed work isn’t your thing; if async communication and proactive documentation are difficult for you.
- Feedback doesn’t excite you; if nitpicky refinement feels frustrating.
- Ambiguity makes you uncomfortable; if changing priorities and evolving processes feel bumpy. How to Apply and What to Expect in the Interview Process We listen to clear next steps, share updates and feedback, and invite questions. The hiring process is a sequence of steps.
