The OpportunityThis position works out of Buenos Aires, Argentina. As an Informatics Technical Specialist (ITS), you'll have the chance to focus on the end-to-end delivery of the AlinIQ Digital Health applications and be at the center of delivering on Abbott's consumer healthcare strategy.What You'll DoResponsible for the end-to-end implementation, testing, and training of Abbott Digital applications, ensuring high quality and customer satisfaction. Leverage technical IT and networking expertise to analyze user needs, gather customer requirements, and design integrated, scalable, and comprehensive health informatics solutions that enhance automation for clinical diagnostic healthcare clients. The role requires strong multitasking skills and the ability to coordinate across a complex network of stakeholders, including sales representatives, laboratory managers, project managers, IT teams, HIS/LIS personnel, internal and external vendors, contractors, and senior management as needed. Along with the technical aptitude and understanding of clinical laboratory workflow, this role is client facing and requires excellent communication, critical thinking, project management and presentation skills, and other soft skills to ensure high client satisfaction. Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system and for adhering to and promoting the Abbott Code of Business Conduct.QualificationsBachelor's Degree (recent graduate or soon-to-be graduate) in Computer Science, Information Systems, biomedical engineering, medical or hospital informatics, or related disciplines. One year of relevant healthcare or information technology experience preferred.
