Java Backend + SQL/etl (Ssis/dtsx) (Buenos Aires)

Your primary responsibility will involve building and maintaining backend services and integrations while promoting best engineering practices and continuous improvement. **This is you**:

- 3+ years of experience in **Java backend** development
- Strong experience with **Spring Boot (2.x+), Spring Web, Spring Data, and Spring Security**
- Solid knowledge of **SQL and DTSX**
- Experience designing and consuming **REST and SOAP services**
- Knowledge of **microservices architectures**
- Experience working with **Kafka, MQ, Maven, and Git**
- Familiarity with **unit testing, debugging, and code reviews**
- Strong communication skills, empathy, and teamwork mindset
- Intermediate English level
- Residence in **Argentina (preferably Buenos Aires or Córdoba)**

**Nice-to-have skills**:

- Mongo Client
- Experience in banking or financial systems
- Performance optimization and scalability best practices

**This is your role**:

- Understand software requirements and translate them into technical designs
- Build or adapt classes, modules, and reusable components
- Develop, test, and maintain backend services and integrations
- Review and improve code quality and performance
- Document functional and architectural solutions
- Collaborate closely with other developers and stakeholders
- Research new technologies and propose improvements
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering standards
