**Role summary**: **Key responsibilities**:

- Work with Studio Project Managers and Senior Mechanical Artists to accurately implement content across a range of mechanicals
- Practice meticulous attention to detail and follow instructions precisely
- Provide multiple layout solutions when necessary
- Manage a high-volume workload
- Complete relevant checklists for all assigned tasks to ensure the highest level of quality and accuracy
- Create and update mechanical templates with new specifications
- Maintain strict server structure and file organization guidelines
- Manage files and processes (incoming/outgoing, naming, archiving, etc.)
- Consistently adhere to file naming strategies
- Perform quality-control measures on individual and peer work
- Abide by (and enforce) client's strict confidentiality policies
- Communicate articulately with team, sharing and documenting any issues or knowledge to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Contribute to a continuous improvement work philosophy Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in mechanical production, printing, and technology
- BA in Graphic Design/Print Media or equivalent
- Prepress background a plus
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat); working knowledge of Photoshop a plus
- Proactive in keeping skills up to date and driving self-improvement
- Ability to prioritize workload and work both independently and with a team
- Ability to navigate complex processes and tools
- Effective time manager
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Communicate fully, effectively, and diplomatically
- Proactive, solution-oriented thinker
- Comfortable working in a high-pressure, confidential studio environment
- Adapt easily to shifting priorities/timelines

- Flexibility during high-volume periods (some longer hours)
